Corporate Giving Page

The United Way of Salt Lake corporate giving program provides businesses with ways to give back to the surrounding Salt Lake community. I led the process of redesigning our web pages that discussed the program. Compared to the old corporate giving page, the new page resulted in double the page views and a 100% increase in actions taken on the page.

The Goal of Web Redesign

1. Better communicate the aspects of workplace of giving.
2. Condense the 4 landing pages discussing corporate engagement to 2 pages.
3. Update the look and feel to reflect current brand standards.

4. Better preform in google search results

Process
Discovery Phase

During the discovery phase, I met with our Resource and Development team to learn about the process of recruiting new businesses to be a supporter and what it looks like for a company to host an in-office workplace campaign.

Key Takeaways

1. The Corporate Engagement process involves talking with someone on the United Way team, and the goal of the page should be to reach out to someone on our staff.
2. There should be a way to highlight the various opportunities corporate partners can get involved.
3. We want to spotlight some of our current corporate partnerships that go above and beyond.

Results

1. 11 users took a step towards contacting our team in the 6 months after the page launched. (For a small, local non-profit, this is big!)

2. Traffic from organic google searches rose 50% over the old page.
